Students’ Computer Literacy and Academic Performance

چکیده

This study determined the level of computer literacy and its influence on academic performance junior high school students. Specifically, it probed into students’ attitude toward computers sought answers to following: extent in terms Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, General Computing; their based mean percentage scores during first second quarters year 2019-2020; issues problems encountered by them relative literacy; solutions that may be suggested themselves address constraints they literacy. Also, employing descriptive-correlational analysis, examined significant differences said areas when paired according relationship between identified areas. Generally, findings revealed students needed enhance word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, general computing. The results also signified greater areas, higher performance. implied classroom intervention activities are imperative students' Thus, teachers should support implementing an program improves specific mentioned.
